Long before the rise of kingdoms, before dragons ruled the skies, and before mankind recorded its first page of history, God created humanity in His own image.

When He looked upon His creation, He declared that it was good.

Unlike every other creature in existence, mankind was blessed with a gift that no other being possessed—free will.

The freedom to choose between obedience and defiance, love and hatred, hope and despair. It was the greatest expression of God’s boundless love.

A fantasy illustration of God's divine hands creating the world and mankind, with Adam and Eve standing in a beautiful paradise surrounded by nature and animals.

Yet not all who dwelled in Heaven rejoiced.

Among the heavenly host were those who envied that gift.

The angels.

They were beings of radiant light, adorned with magnificent wings and blessed with powers beyond mortal understanding. They existed to serve God’s will and to watch over humanity. Though they possessed beauty, wisdom, and strength beyond measure, there was one thing forever beyond their reach.

They could never choose.

Unlike mankind, the angels had no free will. Their purpose was to obey.

Then came the Fall.

Adam and Eve, the first of mankind, were deceived by a fallen angel and tasted the forbidden fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Sin entered the Mortal Realm, bringing pain, suffering, and death.

Yet God did not abandon His children.

Though humanity had fallen, His love remained unchanged.

To many angels, such mercy was impossible to understand.

Why should imperfect beings receive compassion while those who had faithfully served Heaven since the dawn of creation remained bound only by duty?

Envy slowly turned into resentment.

Resentment became rebellion.

Many angels resolved to prove that mankind was unworthy of God’s love, believing that humanity would ultimately betray its Creator if given enough temptation.

Among all the heavenly host, none shone brighter than Luciel.

Leader of the Heavenly Choir.

Archangel of Light.

His voice echoed through the Celestial Realm, and no warrior could rival his strength. He was the greatest of Heaven’s servants.

Yet even the brightest light can cast the darkest shadow.

Unable to understand God’s unwavering love for humanity, Luciel allowed pride to consume his heart.

At last, he raised his sword against Heaven.

One-third of the angels followed him.

They cast aside the sacred forms God had given them, tearing away their radiant wings and corrupting their own divine bodies in exchange for forbidden power. Light gave way to darkness, and grace was replaced by hatred.

They were angels no longer.

They became demons.

Deep within an endless abyss, they forged a kingdom hidden from Heaven’s light.

They named it The Infernal Realm.

There was no mercy.

No divine law.

Only power.

Luciel abandoned the name Heaven had bestowed upon him.

From that day forward, he became Lucifer.

A split fantasy illustration showing Luciel, the radiant Archangel of Light, contrasted with Lucifer, the fallen ruler of the Infernal Realm after his rebellion against Heaven.

As ruler of the Infernal Realm, Lucifer sought to prove that God had been wrong to love mankind. He whispered temptation into human hearts, driving kingdoms toward greed, betrayal, and ruin. His ambition was not merely to corrupt humanity, but to drag the entire Mortal Realm into eternal darkness.

Thus began the greatest conflict the world had ever witnessed.

The War of the Angels.

An epic fantasy illustration of the War of the Angels, where the radiant armies of the Celestial Realm clash against the demonic legions of the Infernal Realm under the command of Lucifer, with Heaven and Hell divided across the battlefield.

Heaven answered by empowering righteous men and women through the strength of its angels, while the forces of the Infernal Realm sought to plunge creation into chaos.

The war endured for generations.

In the end, the Celestial Host emerged victorious.

Yet victory came at a cost.

Lucifer could not be destroyed.

Instead, he was sealed away for one thousand years, while the remaining demons were driven back into the Infernal Realm. Every passage connecting their world to the Mortal Realm was closed, and peace slowly returned.

History would remember this age as The Millennium Kingdom.

A thousand years have passed since then.

According to the ancient prophecy, Lucifer’s seal should already have been broken.

Most people dismissed the old stories as little more than legends. Angels and demons had become myths, spoken of only in old scriptures and forgotten songs.

Yet there were still those who remembered.

Those who believed the darkness had never truly disappeared.

Some whispered that Lucifer had already awakened deep within the Infernal Realm, patiently waiting for the day his vengeance would begin.

The world remained at peace.

Or so it seemed.

Far to the east lay a vast peninsula known as the Continent of Shannon.

Its kingdoms fought only ordinary wars against neighboring realms and rival races. The ancient conflict between the Celestial Realm and the Infernal Realm had faded into legend, forgotten by all but a handful of scholars and faithful believers.

But peace is often nothing more than the silence before a storm.

As shadows quietly gathered beyond mortal sight, destiny began to move once more.

And the first chapter of this new age would begin not in Shannon—

—but upon the land known throughout the world as the Central Continent.
